Flower Stories, by Lenore Elizabeth Mulets

       L. C. Page and Co.,  1903

This central design was used on several titles in Mulets' "Princess (or Phyllis' Field Friends) Series" books, including Tree Stories . Someone else almost certainly designed the surrounding animals.  Curiously, this same central design was also used by Page, then later by the publisher Cupples and Leon (but not always crediting Sacker) for books in Minnie Paull's "Ruby and Ruthy" series, including  Ruby at School .
