Sacker designed covers for seven of the books in this popular girls series. Although not obvious, the girl's dress (and the floor) is pale pink. Other covers show a yellow or dark red dress. The cover also exists in blue (see below). There also exists a scarce jacket reproducing the cover design.  The figure of the girl appears on the endpapers of The Little Colonel's Good Times Book along with images of other cover figures.

In 1994, the cover of the Children's Literature Association Quarterly reproduced this cover (see at bottom of the screen), discussing the book, but without any mention of Sacker's design.
