This 'large paper' edition (only 250 numbered copies) displays the design on front and back covers. It is over an inch taller than the regular edition.This is one of seven titles in a comprehensive history of France, originally published in the 1880's. At least one other version by Sacker of this series also exists. Although the cover is unsigned, a contemporary article indicates Sacker did the design (see below). This title is also known in blue.
