Ellen Lupton has said of this design  "[Her design] achieves a sense of depth and drama with   . . . simple, linear illustrations." 1  The cover also appears in gray, paper over boards [see below]. A small blind-stamped pine cone image may or may not be Amy's work (see below). Other printings of this work change the sky to a light blue, lighter than the foreground (see below also).

The group Decorative Designers also created a cover design, in two different colors, for this title (see below also).
