An Island Refuge: Casco Bay in 1676, by James Otis
Dana Estes, 1895/1898
Sacker apparently did bindings for a number of Otis (a pseudonym for James Otis Kaler) titles, involving eagles and other patriotic symbols. These designs also show up on versions of When We Destroyed the Gaspee. I have identified at least twenty-four Otis titles with Sacker designs, but there may be many more, as Otis wrote over 150 books for children and young adults! The cover on the left also exists without the green portion, thus eliminating Amy's monogram, while also removing the AUTHOR'S NAME [see below]!
