Curiously, a paperback edition of this book, part of the "Fleur de Lis Library", appeared almost simultaneously using another Sacker design [ see below]. The border duplicates that found on the series of books Sacker did for Lady Jackson's French history series ! A British edition from 1900 (John Macqueen) used the lettering but not the (striking) image [also see below].
